I’m so grateful for a couple days' rain here. My allergies have been out of control.
Looks like it’s Migraine Monday. Low pressure fronts are always a trigger. Time to power through.
I need to go shopping for a DisplayLink adapter for my M1 MacBook Air this week. 🧑‍💻
I’m doing a lot more spreadsheet work and I need a a lot more than one external display.
We’re doing our best here. My 5yo daughter wants to know why I keep hugging her so much today.
Day one of a fresh new mental health journey with the new society modifiers applied.
That about sums it up.

Where do we go from here?
It strikes me as funny that the supposedly “faithful” are so fascinated with power and control.
My one consolation today is my kids are young enough to outlive most of the perpetrators of these setbacks. I hope they have the wisdom and the will to fix what we allowed to become broken.
I’m processing right now. I would love to speak eloquently about SCOTUS dismantling personal freedoms in the US, but it’s hard to type when you’re crying.

My trip to the land of alternate keyboard layouts was short as usual. I just don’t see them solving enough problems give up decades of muscle memory.
Alone in the home office for the first time in two weeks. I forgot how quiet it can be here.
Moved my keyboard to colemak to see if I can pull it off. Jury is very much out on this one.
My son has been playing my favorite video game for a little while and I didn’t know. He asked me if I could give him some pointers tomorrow. Very tempted to call into work and clear my calendar.
Kids are so stir crazy and tired of sitting in the house.
A week in quarantine with three young kids has completely depleted our Play-Doh stock and honed my omelette making skills beyond my wildest imagination.
Starting the second week of everyone in our house being sick with a not-covid URI. For Father’s Day my wife and kids gave me 13 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I’m feeling pretty blessed.
Trying our hand at meal planning again this week. We’re looking for pressure cooker only recipes because it’s too hot to use our stove.
